Sacred Heart invites you to baptize your baby in Christ.  Call the parish office to schedule an interview with one of our deacons and begin your baptismal process.

Sacramental Preparation is open to those aged 7 and older who have completed at least 1 year of faith formation. They will receive Reconciliation in the fall at a regularly scheduled time with their parents, and Confirmation and First Communion together in the spring with the bishop.  Reconciliation must be done before Confirmation & First Communion.

Totus Tuus is a summer Catholic youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through catechesis, evangelization, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship.

SHOCK (Sacred Heart’s Outstanding Catholic Kids) is the youth group for Catholic Nacogdoches and meets weekly during the school year in the gym of Sacred Heart.  All middle school students, grades 6-8, meet Wednesday nights after the 5:30 Mass from 6:15-8:00pm.  All high school students, grades 9-12, meet Mondays from 6:30-8:30pm. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process whereby adults enter into “full communion” with the Catholic Church. Just because you start RCIA, doesn’t mean you are committed to finishing it. If you are merely curious about what Catholicism is, please feel free to come. All are welcome. If you decide to join the Church, this journey culminates in reception of the sacraments at the Easter Vigil.
